Emulation Cluster 2 – City Party Committee Office organized a commemorative visit to historical sites and a meeting to celebrate the 93rd Anniversary of the Party Committee Office’s Traditional Day (October 16, 1930 – October 16, 2023).

Emulation Cluster 2 – City Party Committee Office includes 8 units: Ho Chi Minh City State Investment and Finance Company, Saigon Tourism Corporation – One Member Limited Liability Company, Ben Thanh Corporation – One Member Limited Liability Company, Saigon Trading Corporation – One Member Limited Liability Company, Saigon Mechanical and Transportation Corporation, Saigon Industrial Corporation – One Member Limited Liability Company, Saigon Real Estate Corporation – One Member Limited Liability Company, and Saigon Pharmaceutical Company – One Member Limited Liability Company.

As the Head of Emulation Cluster 2 in 2023, the Office of Ho Chi Minh City State Investment and Finance Company coordinated with the offices of the Party Committees of the member units to organize a program including visits to historical sites, social activities, and a commemorative meeting for the 93rd Anniversary of the Party Committee Office’s Traditional Day (October 16, 1930 – October 16, 2023) in Lam Dong Province over 3 days (October 5–7, 2023).

The program was attended by Mr. Vo Minh Phuong, Deputy Head of the Administration – Archives Department, City Party Committee Office; Mr. Luong Quoc Chien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City State Investment and Finance Company; along with Heads, Deputies, and staff of the Party Committee offices of the 8 enterprises in Emulation Cluster 2 – City Party Committee Office.

At the beginning of the journey, the delegation offered flowers and incense at the La Nga Victory Monument Historical Site in Dong Nai Province. This site marks the resounding victories of our soldiers and people during the early resistance against French colonialists; the delegation reviewed this heroic period of the nation, expressed deep respect and gratitude to the ancestors who sacrificed for the country’s independence and freedom, and pledged to live worthy of their noble sacrifices.

    Social activities are an essential part of Emulation Cluster 2. On this occasion, Emulation Cluster 2 coordinated with Saigon Real Estate Corporation – One Member Limited Liability Company to visit, interact with, and present gifts to the Lam Dong School for the Deaf (located at 3 Pasteur Street, Ward 4, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province), which educates 130 deaf students from Lam Dong and neighboring provinces. During the visit, the delegation felt the dedication and love of the school and teachers, as well as the efforts of the students through heartfelt performances. The delegation presented 2 TVs and 130 gifts including warm clothing, uniforms, sandals, and essential items (milk, rice, cooking oil) to the school and students, helping the deaf students improve their learning, daily life, recreation, and overcome personal challenges.

On behalf of the units, Mr. Luong Quoc Chien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City State Investment and Finance Company, stated that this social activity has deep humanitarian significance, reflecting the long-standing care of the Party and State; it motivates the students to strive for better learning and life conditions. This also demonstrates the responsibility of enterprises toward the community and society. He hoped the students would achieve good academic results and contribute meaningfully to their school and society.

Next, the delegation visited the National Historical Site – Da Lat Juvenile Prison, which represents the indomitable spirit of young revolutionary fighters. Operating only about three years (1971–1973), it once detained more than 600 youths aged 12 to 17 with revolutionary spirit. The site commemorates the brave and resilient struggle of young prisoners who thwarted the enemy’s plan to eradicate revolutionary ideals, patriotism, and the pursuit of national independence and freedom.

Within the trip, Emulation Cluster 2 also visited National Archives Center IV in Da Lat City. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Director of the Center, who introduced the exhibition space of woodblocks and valuable archived documents, and shared experiences and methods for document editing, storage, and digitization to optimize archival use. This activity was highly meaningful for the delegation members directly involved in Party Committee office work.

On this occasion, Emulation Cluster 2 – City Party Committee Office held a commemorative meeting for the 93rd Anniversary of the Party Committee Office’s Traditional Day (October 16, 1930 – October 16, 2023), with an exchange and learning session on Party Committee office work alongside leaders and staff of the Da Lat City Party Committee Office.

At the meeting, Mr. Luong Quoc Chien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of HFIC Party Committee, representing the Head Unit of Emulation Cluster 2 – City Party Committee Office, expressed gratitude for the timely support and guidance of the Da Lat City Party Committee Office, which helped units in the Cluster enhance emulation movements and perform office work effectively. He also urged members of the Cluster to continue promoting solidarity, coordinate in improving all aspects of office work, protect Party and State secrets, apply information technology effectively, manage Party assets and finances efficiently, and maintain savings. Additionally, he encouraged the Cluster to uphold mutual support traditions and implement meaningful social activities for the community and society.
