The 2023 Program “Skillful Mass Mobilization – Connecting the Border” by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission

From November 7–9, 2023, the Mass Mobilization Commission of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City State Investment and Financial Company (HFIC) participated in the 2023 Program “Skillful Mass Mobilization – Connecting the Border” alongside the working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission in Cu Jut District, Dak Nong Province, engaging in many meaningful activities.

The delegation was led by Comrade Nguyễn Thị Bạch Mai, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission. Also participating were Comrade Ngô Văn Luận, former Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission; Comrade Nguyễn Thanh Phong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command; Comrade Nguyễn Hùng Vương, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard; other leaders and specialists from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission; the Party Committees of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard, Ho Chi Minh City Military; units under Emulation Cluster 4 of the District Party Committees and higher-level Party Committees (with HFIC’s Party Committee Mass Mobilization Commission serving as Cluster Leader).

At Dak Ken and Nam Na Border Guard Stations, the delegation donated 12 computers to support the “Digital Transformation” program for officers and soldiers; 4 bookcases; 1,000 national flags as part of the “Proud of the National Flag” component; and 40 solar-powered lamps to illuminate border roads at the two stations.

At the program, Comrade Nguyễn Thị Bạch Mai shared that the “Skillful Mass Mobilization – Connecting the Border” program aims to boost morale, care for the living conditions, and share difficulties with officers and soldiers in border areas, wishing them good health, firm faith, and steadfastness in protecting national border sovereignty.

Additionally, the “Skillful Mass Mobilization – Supporting Children to School” component awarded 100 scholarships to students in Cu Jut District facing difficult circumstances to help them access better educational opportunities. The delegation also distributed 100 sets of school supplies and other gifts to disadvantaged ethnic minority students and families in Cu Jut District to improve their quality of life.

Comrade Nguyễn Thị Bạch Mai emphasized that by providing practical support and gifts, the program aims to contribute to social welfare and ease difficulties for people and officers in the border areas of Dak Nong Province. Through the care of the people, officials, civil servants, and workers of Ho Chi Minh City, the program seeks to strengthen the connection between border residents and Ho Chi Minh City.

Furthermore, the program also aims to promote patriotism and love for the homeland, thereby raising awareness and responsibility among officials, party members, union members, and association members in protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new context.
