1.1. Direct Project Investment
HFIC takes the lead in investing in key strategic sectors of Ho Chi Minh City such as social and technical infrastructure, healthcare, education, water supply, and environmental treatment — creating momentum for socio-economic development in the City and the Southern Key Economic Region.
As a pioneering investor, HFIC employs counterpart funding mechanisms to attract participation from multiple economic sectors. This approach helps mobilize additional credit resources from financial institutions, thereby expanding investment scale and enhancing project effectiveness.

Most investee enterprises operate efficiently, maintain sound financial standing, and distribute annual dividends, thereby enhancing the value of State capital and public financial resources. Beyond financial returns, HFIC also undertakes investments assigned by the City for public policy objectives — contributing to the development of infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other key social sectors.
